Ben and Uncle Bill were now basking in the glory of Barbarianism. On the second day of their great adventure they decided to head to the north to pillage and plunder the outlying towns. On the way there, however, they got distracted by the lights of an amusement park...so they had a different sort adventure.
Ben was about to ride his first roller coaster, and the one Uncle Bill picked out for him was a little terrifying...
Hey, he's the one that wanted to be a BARBARIAN!!
But even Uncle Bill was a little intimidated by the "Boomerang," which started out going forwards, but then finnished off by going in reverse. Yikes!!
And of course, this was made even more terrifying by the fact that the "Boomerang" had its own loop...which you had to go through backwards!!
After their terrifying ride on the roller coasters, Ben and Uncle Bill went to the waterpark, where cameras just don't have a good time. As a result, there are no photos of the water slides, the wave pool, or the giant bucket of water that took ten minutes to fill before it dumped thousands of gallons of water over the people below. They also saw a diving show in which a pirate climbed a tower, set himself on fire, and then jumped and fell 75 feet before splashing into the pool below. We could feel the heat of the fire on our faces as he passed by!!!
The next day we went to the movies...where Ben got a bucket of popcorn all to himself!
All in all we had a wonderful time at the First Annual BARBARIAN CAMP!!
