I started writing my column for The Recorder (Greenfield, MA) in May of 1997. Designed to be informative and entertaining for the layman, I tell stories that teach the reader something about nature without being too preachy, or high-brow. Since September of 2007 my column has also appeared in the Times Union (Albany, NY) . |

"Kids and Critters" is a special column designed for the younger reader and artist. It appears in the first Thurday of the month in the Recorder.
